Our VISION is of a healthy, inclusive, and equitable greater Phoenixville region where every resident belongs and has the opportunity to live a full, dignified life.

We partners with organizations and communities to collectively ensure that greater Phoenixville area residents have equitable access to the conditions and resources needed to live healthy, thriving lives.

Our Values

  • Equity & Compassion: We remove barriers and center those who have been overlooked. We show up with empathy, humility, and genuine care for every person and community we serve.
  • Collaboration & Shared Power: We believe the best solutions are created together. We listen deeply, honor lived experience, and lift community voices—sharing power in ways that strengthen trust and belonging.
  • Trust & Transparency: We build relationships rooted in honesty, clarity, and respect. We communicate openly about how and why decisions are made and strive to be reliable partners in every interaction.
  • Learning & Adaptability: We stay curious and open. We learn from our partners, our community, and our own experiences—growing and adjusting as needs evolve and new possibilities emerge.
  • Responsible Use of Resources: We apply our resources with courage and care, stewarding them in ways that support long-term, equitable health and well-being for the entire Phoenixville community.

What We Do

Grants

Through grantmaking and collaboration with health, civic, business, nonprofits, and community partners, we work to improve the health and quality of life for all people in the greater Phoenixville region. We do so by increasing equitable access to quality health and human services and promoting healthy communities.

Capacity Building Programs

PCHF strives to empower our partners through capacity building programming and resources. We offer monthly programs and roundtables, trainings, networking opportunities, and more. Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter for up-to-date information about our programs!

PCHF Scholarships

The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors from area schools pursuing higher degrees in health care and human services. We’re always looking for passionate students in our community!

Trust-Based Philanthropy

PCHF practices Trust-Based Philanthropy, a national movement and philosophy centered on advancing equity, shifting power, and building mutually accountable relationships between funders and grantees. Nothing is more important than the relationships we have with our nonprofit community. When we have strong relationships with our nonprofit partners, honest conversations about community needs and workable solutions become more feasible. So, we work to build, strengthen, and continually nurture those relationships.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

PCHF is committed to centering the principles of DEI in all aspects of our work. We will continue to intensify our focus on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our board and staff will continue to learn and determine how we can integrate what we have learned more deeply and intentionally into our mission.
