Mini-grants are closed until July 1, 2024.
Funds are available until they are exhausted for the budget year.
Only one mini-grant will be available per year per organization. We do not reimburse for projects/programs that have already been funded or paid for by the applying organizations. Mini-grants are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Organizations that receive a mini-grant will need to complete a final report once the funds are spent.
The four areas are:
Capacity Building
Programs that may qualify for this funding are board of director training, standard for excellence activities, staff development/leadership, DEI training, strategic planning, outcome-based training/resources, marketing/branding (new brochures, new websites, video promotion, social media campaigns, etc.) and strategic collaborative planning.

- The maximum grant award is $2,500 per year.
Information Technology
- Types of equipment eligible are computer hardware, software upgrades, printers, training associated with equipment/program upgrades, tablets, and laptops.
- You will need a program budget for this request.
- You will have to upload an estimate, or documentation, of IT equipment to be purchased.
- The maximum grant award is $5,000.
AED
- Formal estimate, or documentation, of AED equipment to be purchased, should be uploaded in our portal as part of your request.
- The maximum grant award is $2,000 for one AED and $4,000 for 2 per year.
Health Education
- Designed to introduce innovative teaching techniques and educational opportunities that will enhance the health-related learning experience and healthy lifestyle options for youth and their families in the greater Phoenixville area. The following school districts qualify for funding: Phoenixville Area School District, Owen J. Roberts School District, Methacton School District, Renaissance Academy, Pope John Paul II High School, Spring-Ford School District, Technical College High School- Pickering Campus, Perkiomen Valley School District, Pottsgrove School District, and Great Valley School District.
- This mini-grant is also designed to support Public Safety professionals in obtaining materials for community events.
Programs that may qualify for funding are family/personal wellness, nutrition, personal safety, disease prevention, behavioral health, anti-violence/bullying, parenting education, and substance abuse prevention.
We do not fund textbooks, lesson plans, reference materials, videos, equipment, or supplies for general use, except to the extent they are part of an experiment with fresh, new teaching techniques, program models, a pilot project, or a special one-time learning experience for a targeted number of children/families.
