We work to improve the health and quality of life for all people in the greater Phoenixville region by increasing equitable access to quality health and human services and promoting healthy communities through grantmaking and collaboration with health, civic, business, nonprofits, and community partners.

  • Ensure equitable access to high-quality and affordable health and human services for all residents in the greater Phoenixville region
  • Promote and strengthen access to timely mental health and substance abuse services, especially crisis intervention
  • Support efforts to prevent homelessness and services for those experiencing housing insecurity, and expand opportunities for healthy, safe, and affordable housing
  • Enhance the quality of services in the region by investing in nonprofit capacity building and development, and by encouraging partnerships and innovation

Core Programs

Grants

Through grantmaking and collaboration with health, civic, business, nonprofits, and community partners, we work to improve the health and quality of life for all people in the greater Phoenixville region. We do so by increasing equitable access to quality health and human services and promoting healthy communities.

Capacity Building Programs

PCHF supports the growth of our nonprofit professionals through our free capacity building programs. We offer a variety of programs from September to June. Keep checking back with us to see our new offerings.

PCHF Scholarships

The Phoenixville Community Health Foundation offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors from area schools pursuing higher degrees in health care and human services.

Youth & Philanthropy

This program provides students with a hands-on opportunity to learn about philanthropy, and giving of oneself to address the needs of others in their communities. We are thankful for our school partners: Phoenixville Area Middle School, Renaissance Academy, Owen J. Roberts Middle School, and Methacton Arcola Intermediate School.

Community Convening

PCHF takes pride in listening to the nonprofit community when challenges arise. We have convened the community in the last year around issues of affordable housing, behavioral health, and Elders at risk in our community. We will continue to listen and learn to help our community grow stronger.
